Kantola produces high-quality training videos for the workplace and an online training platform designed to track completion and compliance.
The Challenge
Kantola approached us with the challenge of updating the UI of their existing online Learning Management System (LMS) and improving their training management experience while retaining the functionality built by their engineers a decade ago. The goal was to simplify training management flows and reduce support requests.
We started by closely examining Kantola's LMS's current structure and pinpointing areas where their customers were experiencing difficulties. This approach allowed us to view the system from different angles and gave us various ideas for streamlining training management flows.
Optimizing Experience
During the course of our research, we quickly spotted the most significant flaw in Kantola's LMS: the need for a high-level view of training performance. Training managers needed analytical data to tackle this problem.
Breaking down training attendees into different status groups gave training managers complete control over program reporting as well as over individual courses.
The Result
We worked closely with the Kantola team to re-imagine a purpose-built platform that simplifies assigning, tracking, and completing training while providing features and flexibility for organizations of all sizes and structures.
Following the release of the updated LMS, Kantola received positive feedback from over 16,000 clients on the ease of administering training and accessing information, with customer satisfaction climbing to over 99%.
